Adopting HPE SimpliVity to transition the VDI environment from DaaS to on-premises, while also strengthening BCP measures!
We would like to introduce a case study of YAMAZEN Corporation, which we supported. The company faced challenges in expanding remote work for 800 users, primarily in the sales department, and in building a high-performance VDI environment as part of their BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures, especially in response to the increased demand for remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this, we built an on-premises VDI infrastructure using HPE SimpliVity that does not impose operational burdens, and provided a VDI environment for an additional 300 users on top of the initially planned 800 users. After implementation, we significantly improved the response of the VDI environment, contributing to increased productivity in remote work, and enhanced service quality through the transition from DaaS to on-premises VDI, enabling more flexible operations.
